Before first use, fully charge your shaver. Connect the charger to the shaver and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides up to 40 minutes of shaving time. A quick 5-minute charge is sufficient for one shave.
5.2 Attaching the Protective Cap
Always place the protective cap on the shaver head when not in use to prevent damage to the foil and to maintain hygiene.

The integrated comb trimmer is designed to handle longer hairs. The skin-friendly comb evenly combs the long beard growing in all directions, then leads them into the trimmer for effective cutting before the foil finishes the shave.
6.3 Wet & Dry Shaving
The M1012 is 100% waterproof, allowing for both dry shaving and wet shaving with foam or gel, or even in the shower. For a more refreshing shave, apply shaving foam or gel to your face before shaving.

After each use, especially after wet shaving with foam or gel, rinse the shaver head under running tap water. You can also remove the shaver head and tap out any accumulated hair. The shaver is designed for whole-body washing.

Periodically, for a more thorough clean, you can use a small brush (not included) to remove stubborn hair particles from the shaver head and inner components. Ensure the shaver is switched off and unplugged before deep cleaning.

To maintain 100% shaving performance, replace the foil and cutter block (compatible shaver head: 20MB) when they show signs of wear or after approximately 18 months, depending on your shaving frequency. Replacement parts can be purchased from authorized Braun retailers.
