The NVR requires a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive (not included) for recording video. Follow these steps to install it:

1. Unscrew and remove the top cover of the NVR chassis.
2. Connect the SATA data cable and power cable (provided) to the hard drive.
3. Align the hard drive with the mounting holes inside the NVR and secure it with the provided screws.
4. Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to the SATA port on the NVR's motherboard.
5. Connect the other end of the SATA power cable to the power connector on the NVR's motherboard.
6. Carefully replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
