A properly fitting helmet is crucial for safety. To determine your size, measure the circumference of your head at its largest point, approximately one inch above your eyebrows. Refer to the HJC size guide for specific measurements. The helmet should fit snugly around your head without causing pressure points. It should not move freely when you shake your head.

4.2 Shield Installation and Adjustment

The HJ-36 shield features a quick, secure Shield Ratchet System for easy installation and removal. Ensure the shield is properly seated in the mechanism on both sides. The integrated HJ-V11 sun visor operates independently. For Pinlock installation, follow the instructions provided with the Pinlock insert to ensure a proper seal against fogging.

4.3 SMART HJC Bluetooth System (Optional)

The HJC i100 is designed to integrate with SMART HJC Bluetooth communication systems (sold separately). Follow the specific installation instructions provided with your SMART HJC unit for proper setup and pairing.

5. Операция

5.1 Chin Bar Operation

The i100 features a full-rotation chin bar. To raise the chin bar, locate the release mechanism, typically at the front center of the chin bar, and activate it. Rotate the chin bar upwards and backwards until it locks securely into the open-face position. To return to full-face mode, release the chin bar from its locked position and rotate it forward until it clicks firmly into place.

5.2 Visor and Sun Visor Use

The clear HJ-36 shield can be raised or lowered using the tab located at the bottom center. The integrated HJ-V11 dark smoke sun visor is operated by a slider mechanism, usually on the left side of the helmet. Extend the sun visor for glare protection and retract it when not needed or in low light conditions.

6.2 Exterior and Shield Cleaning

Clean the helmet's exterior shell with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish. For the HJ-36 shield, use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals, as they can compromise the anti-scratch coating and UV protection. For the Pinlock insert, clean gently with water and a soft cloth; avoid rubbing the inner surface.

• Excessive Noise/Draft: While the i100 is designed for good ventilation, ensure all vents are closed if you experience excessive draft in cold weather. Check that the visor and chin bar are fully closed and sealed.
