The Kestrel Drop D3 is a compact, wireless data logger designed to accurately measure and record environmental conditions. 1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Kestrel Drop D3.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, carefully remove the four screws securing the battery cover.
3. Insert one CR2032 lithium metal battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces upwards.
4. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the four screws. Do not overtighten.

For applications requiring sea-level adjusted pressure, manual calculation or an external reference is necessary.
