2. Importance of UVB for Reptiles

UVB radiation is crucial for the health of many reptile species. It enables them to synthesize Vitamin D3, which is essential for calcium absorption and metabolism. Without adequate UVB, reptiles can develop metabolic bone disease (MBD) and other health issues.
