3.1. Jaw Exchange

The iCrimp 1632AF tool features quick and easy interchangeable jaws to accommodate different pipe sizes (1/2-inch, 3/4-inch, and 1-inch).

1. Fully open the tool handles to unlock the jaw mechanism.
2. Locate the fixed pin on the jaw. Push the pin to release the current jaw set.
3. Carefully remove the existing jaws.
4. Select the appropriate jaw size for your application.
5. Insert the new jaws by aligning them with the tool's mechanism and pushing the fixed pin back into place until it locks securely.

3.2. Handle Extension

For increased leverage, the tool's handles can be extended. Simply pull the inner handle sections outwards until they lock into the desired extended position. This provides additional mechanical advantage for easier crimping, especially on larger diameter fittings.

1. Prepare the Copper Pipe:

5. Release the Tool: Once the crimp is complete, release the handles and remove the tool from the fitting. Inspect the crimp to ensure it is uniform and secure.
