- Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the new faucet.
- Insert the faucet body through the holes in the sink deck.
- From underneath the sink, place the rubber washer, then the metal washer, and finally thread the mounting nuts onto the faucet shanks. Hand-tighten, then use a basin wrench to secure firmly, but do not overtighten.
