Optical System: FMC & BAK4 Prism

Your HUTACT binoculars feature Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) lenses and BAK4 Porro Prisms. This combination ensures high light transmission (over 90%), vivid color reproduction, and sharp, clear images by minimizing stray light and distortion. The 50mm objective lens gathers ample light, making these binoculars suitable for various lighting conditions, including low light.

Using the Built-in Compass and Rangefinder

The binoculars are equipped with a built-in compass and a rangefinder reticle within the eyepiece for navigation and distance estimation.

Compass Operation:

The compass displays the direction in degrees within your field of view. To illuminate the compass and rangefinder in dark environments, press the light source switch located on the side of the binoculars. The compass is powered by a button battery, ensuring stable readings.

Rangefinder Operation (Density Ranging Method):

The rangefinder reticle allows you to estimate the distance to a target if you know its approximate height. The formula for calculating distance is: L (km) = H (m) / w

Exampле: If a distant sailboat is known to be 10 meters tall (H = 10m) and the rangefinder reticle shows a density angle of 5 (w = 5), then the distance (L) is 10m / 5 = 2km.

Waterproof and Fogproof Features:

Your HUTACT binoculars are designed with an IPX7 waterproof rating and are nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. This means they are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from entering the optics, ensuring clear viewing in all weather conditions, including rain or humid environments.

Линзаларды тазалоо:

When cleaning the lenses, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe away any dust or smudges. For stubborn dirt, a small amount of lens cleaning fluid can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens coatings.

Сактагыч:

Store your binoculars in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carrying bag to protect them from dust and physical damage when not in use.

Проблемаларды чечүү

КөйгөйМүмкүн себепЧечим
Blurred image / Cannot focus clearlyIncorrect diopter adjustment or interpupillary distance.Re-adjust the interpupillary distance and follow the diopter adjustment steps (Setup section) carefully. Ensure both eyepieces are focused for your individual vision.
Compass or rangefinder illumination not workingLow or dead button battery for illumination.Replace the button battery. Refer to the "Details" image in the Operating section for battery bin location.
Difficulty understanding rangefinder readingsUnfamiliarity with the density ranging method.Review the "Rangefinder Operation (Density Ranging Method)" in the Operating section. Practice with known distances and object heights to become familiar with the calculation.
Fogging inside lensesExtreme temperature changes or seal compromise (unlikely for new product).Allow binoculars to acclimate to ambient temperature. If fogging persists and is internal, contact customer support. The binoculars are nitrogen-filled and sealed to prevent this.
