The Alesis Command Mesh Kit is an 8-piece electronic drum set designed to provide a realistic and responsive drumming experience. The kit includes a 10-inch dual-zone mesh snare, three 8-inch dual-zone mesh tom pads, an 8-inch mesh kick tower pad with pedal, and three cymbals (ride, crash with choke, and hi-hat). Assemble the chrome rack according to the included quick start guide, then mount the pads and cymbals.

Connect all pads and cymbals to the Command Drum Module using the provided cables. Ensure secure connections for optimal performance. The module also features USB MIDI connectivity for integration with computers and other MIDI devices.

3. Operating the Command Drum Module

The Command Drum Module is the central control unit for your electronic drum set. It features 70 drum kits (50 factory presets + 20 user-customizable kits) with over 600 electronic and acoustic drum sounds. Additionally, it includes 60 built-in play-along tracks and an on-board metronome for practice.

Use the navigation buttons (MENU, DOWN, UP, ENTER, EXIT) and the large rotary knob to select kits, adjust parameters, and browse sounds. The module also features a USB memory stick input, allowing you to load third-party .WAV samples and assign them to any zone of any mesh pad. This enables extensive customization of your drum sounds.

Additional features include a sequencer for recording your drum performance and an Aux input for jamming along to your favorite tracks. MIDI input and output via USB allow for seamless integration with music production software.
