3.1. Gimbal Balancing

Proper balancing of the gimbal with your smartphone is crucial before powering on. Failure to balance can lead to motor overload, reduced battery life, and potential damage to the gimbal.

1. Remove your phone case if any.
2. Slide the smartphone into the phone holder, positioning it as close as possible against the tilt axis motor.
3. Loosen the Roll (Y) Axis Thumb Screw (located on the back of the gimbal) to adjust the gravity center by sliding the horizontal arm.
4. How to Judge: The gimbal is balanced when the phone remains level in the power-off status. If the phone falls or a red light appears at the bottom within approximately one minute after powering on, it is not balanced.
