1. Ensure the host IKS-6726A/6728A modular Ethernet switch is powered off and disconnected from all power sources.
2. Locate an available module slot on the host switch.
3. Carefully align the IM-6700A-8PoE module with the slot and gently slide it in until it is fully seated.
4. Secure the module using any provided screws or locking mechanisms on the host switch.
