6.2 Selecting Wood Group

For accurate wood moisture measurements, select the appropriate wood group (A, B, C, or D) that corresponds to the type of wood you are measuring. Refer to Section 6.4 for a list of wood types per group.

• With the device ON, press the MODE баскычы repeatedly to cycle through the wood groups (A, B, C, D). The selected group will be indicated on the display.

1. Ensure the device is ON and the correct wood group is selected (if measuring wood).
2. Carefully push the two measurement pins into the material you wish to measure. Ensure the pins penetrate the material sufficiently for a stable reading.

6.4 Wood Group Classification

The meter is calibrated for approximately 50 wood species, categorized into four groups:
