The VICLLAX Outdoor Roller Shade offers versatile installation options, suitable for both wall-mounting and ceiling-mounting. The clutch mechanism can be optionally placed on either the left or right side to suit your preference.
4.1 Choosing Mounting Location
Determine whether to mount the shade on a wall or ceiling. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the weight of the shade.

Position the mounting brackets at the desired location, ensuring they are level and spaced correctly for your shade's width. Mark the drill points and secure the brackets using the provided hardware. For wall mounting, ensure adequate clearance for the shade to operate freely.

4.3 Installing the Shade
Once the brackets are secure, carefully lift the roller shade assembly and snap it into place on the brackets. Ensure the valance is properly aligned and secured. The robust full 3-sided aluminum valance protects the shade fabric when retracted.
4.4 Attaching the Crank Wand
Attach the crank wand to the clutch mechanism on the side you prefer. The clutch can be positioned on either the left or right side of the shade.

5.1 Raising and Lowering the Shade
To raise or lower the shade, insert the hook of the crank wand into the loop on the clutch mechanism. Rotate the crank wand clockwise to lower the shade and counter-clockwise to raise it. Adjust the shade to your desired height.
5.2 Securing the Shade with Bungee System
The shade is equipped with a bungee system to keep it in a fixed position, especially during mild to moderate wind conditions. Once the shade is lowered to the desired position, attach the bungee cords from the bottom rail to suitable anchor points on your patio or gazebo structure. This prevents the shade from swaying excessively.
