4.1 Installing the Dust Bin

1. Ensure your Shark ION Robot Vacuum is powered off and unplugged from its charging dock.
2. Locate the existing dust bin on your robot vacuum. This is typically found at the rear or side of the unit.
3. Press the release button or tab to remove the old dust bin. Gently pull it out from the vacuum.
4. Take your new Generic Replacement Dust Bin. Ensure the filter is properly seated inside the bin.
5. Align the new dust bin with the opening on the robot vacuum. Slide it in firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely latched.
6. Verify that the dust bin is fully inserted and flush with the robot's body.

5.1 Using the Robot Vacuum with the New Bin

Once the new dust bin is securely installed, your Shark ION Robot Vacuum is ready for operation. The robot will function as normal, collecting dirt and debris into the new bin. No special operational steps are required beyond the standard use of your robot vacuum.

For optimal performance, empty the dust bin after each cleaning cycle or when it appears full.

1. Press the release button to remove the dust bin from the robot vacuum.
2. Hold the dust bin over a trash receptacle.

4. Close the lid securely and reinsert the dust bin into the robot vacuum until it clicks into place.

3. Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dirt and dust. Do not wash the filter with water, as this can damage it.
4. Brush off any remaining debris with a small brush (not included) if necessary.
5. Reinsert the clean filter into the dust bin, ensuring it is seated correctly.
