5. Close the fill cap securely and reattach the water tank to the steamer unit.

2. Power Connection

Plug the steamer's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate, typically red, indicating the unit is heating up.

Once plugged in, the steamer will begin to heat. The indicator light will change from red to green in approximately 30 seconds, signaling that the steamer is ready for use.

The VALET steamer is safe for use on most fabrics, including cotton, linen, silk, wool, and synthetics. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially for delicate fabrics.

4. Automatic Shutoff

For safety, the steamer will automatically shut off after approximately 20 minutes of continuous inactivity. To resume steaming, press the power button again.

After each use, or when the steamer will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to empty any remaining water from the tank. Unplug the unit, remove the tank, open the fill cap, and carefully pour out the water. Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching.

3. Descaling (If Necessary)

If you notice reduced steam output or mineral residue, descaling may be necessary. Fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then unplug and let it sit for 30 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining solution. Finish by running two full tanks of plain distilled water to rinse.
