4.1. Disassembly of Old Trimmer Head (if applicable)

4.3. Attaching the Trimmer Head to the Trimmer Shaft

1. Identify the thread type of your trimmer's shaft. Compare it with the provided thread adapters (nuts and studs).
2. Select the adapter that securely threads onto your trimmer's shaft. The package includes various left-hand and right-hand threaded nuts and double studs (e.g., M10x1.25, 3/8"-24, M8x1.25, M7x1.0).
3. Thread the selected adapter onto the trimmer shaft.
4. Align the assembled Ewon Trimmer Head with the adapter on the shaft.
5. Carefully screw the trimmer head onto the adapter until it is securely fastened. Ensure it is tight but do not overtighten.
6. Once installed, gently pull on the trimmer line to ensure it feeds smoothly through the eyelets.

5. Operating Instructions (Line Reloading)

The Ewon Trimmer Head is designed for easy line reloading. Over time, the trimmer line will wear down and need replacement. This section outlines the general procedure for reloading the nylon trimmer line.

5.1. Preparing for Line Reloading

2. If there is any remaining line, pull it out from the eyelets.

5.2. Reloading the Trimmer Line

2. Take the new nylon trimmer line. The included line is orange, but you can use any compatible trimmer line.
3. Locate the small holes or slots on the spool where the line is inserted.
4. Insert one end of the line into a hole and begin winding the line neatly and tightly around the spool in the direction indicated by an arrow on the spool (if present). Ensure the line is wound evenly to prevent tangles.
5. Leave approximately 6-8 inches of line extending from each side of the spool.
6. Once the line is wound, feed the ends of the line through the eyelets on the trimmer head housing.
7. Place the spool back into the trimmer head housing, ensuring the spring is correctly positioned.
8. Reattach the cover and knob securely.
9. Gently pull on the line ends to ensure they are properly seated and can feed freely.
