The ALONEFIRE SV87 comes with a pre-installed rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. If the battery needs to be re-inserted or replaced, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight, insert the 18650 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight, and then securely screw the tail cap back on.
