3.1 Taking an Ear Temperature
- Ensure the ear probe cover is securely attached.
- Gently insert the ear probe into the ear canal.
- Press the 'Start' button. The reading will appear on the display and be announced audibly.
- Remove the thermometer after the reading is complete.

3.3 Understanding the Display and Fever Alarm
The thermometer features an informative display and a 3-color backlit visual fever alarm:

The thermometer stores up to 30 previous readings. To access the memory, press the 'S' (Settings) button repeatedly until the memory icon appears. Use the 'Power' button to scroll through stored temperatures.
