3.1 Hand Orientation

The Royale Legend II is available in both left-hand and right-hand retrieve models. To determine your reel's orientation, hold the reel as shown in the diagram below. If the handle is on your left, it is a left-handed reel.

3. As you gain experience or use heavier lures, you can gradually decrease the braking force for longer casts.

1. The drag system is adjusted using the star-shaped knob located next to the handle.
2. Turn the star drag clockwise to increase drag pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
3. Set your drag to approximately 25-30% of your line's breaking strength. This allows the line to slip when a fish pulls hard, preventing line breakage and protecting your rod and reel.
