Introduction

The ROCAM CR1009 Ultra Emergency Weather Radio is a versatile and essential device designed to keep you informed and safe during various situations, from severe weather events to outdoor adventures. It combines multiple power sources, comprehensive radio reception, and critical emergency features into a compact and durable unit.

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the radio using the USB-C charging cable. Connect the USB-C end to the radio's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The LCD display will indicate charging status.

Battery Installation (Optional AAA)

For additional backup power, you may install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the designated battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.

NOAA Weather Alert Function

To activate the NOAA Weather Alert, ensure the radio is in NOAA band mode. When an alert is broadcast, the radio will automatically activate a 116dB siren and a flashing red light, even if the radio is in standby mode, to notify you of severe weather conditions.

• USB-C заряддоо: Connect the provided USB-C cable to a power source. This is the primary and fastest charging method.
• Кол бурчу: Extend the hand crank located on the back of the radio and rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise to generate power. Continuous cranking for a few minutes can provide sufficient power for short-term use.
• Күн панели: Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel will slowly charge the internal battery. This method is ideal for maintaining charge or for trickle charging over longer periods.
