5. Operating Notes and Performance Considerations

- Operating Current Calculation: The operating current must not exceed the maximum input current of 20A. Calculate the operating current using the formula:

(Where 0.94 represents an approximate efficiency of 94% for calculation purposes, as 1.06 is the loss factor).
Exampле: For a 1200W model, if input is 15V, output is 48V, and load current is 5A: (48V * 5A) / (15V * 0.94) = 240W / 14.1V ≈ 17.02A. This is below 20A, so it can operate normally. If the load is 48V 7A: (48V * 7A) / (15V * 0.94) = 336W / 14.1V ≈ 23.83A.
