4. Орнотуу
Follow these steps to connect your satellite finder for initial use:
- LNBге туташыңыз: Connect the cable from your LNB (Low Noise Block downconverter) on the satellite dish to the "TO LNB" input port on the satellite finder.
- Алуучуга туташуу: Connect a coaxial cable from the "TO REC" output port on the satellite finder to your satellite receiver. Ensure the receiver is powered on to provide power to the finder.
- Initial Sensitivity Adjustment: Turn the sensitivity adjustment knob on the front panel of the satellite finder counter-clockwise until the meter pointer is at approximately the "5" position. This provides a good starting point for signal detection.
Note: The satellite finder is powered directly by your satellite receiver (13-18V DC). No external power supply is needed for the finder itself.
5. Иштөө нускамалары
Once connected, use the following procedure to align your satellite dish:
- Rough Alignment: Begin by making rough adjustments to your satellite dish's azimuth (horizontal angle) and elevation (vertical angle) towards the general direction of the desired satellite.
- Fine-Tuning with Finder: Slowly adjust the antenna's azimuth and elevation angles. Observe the meter on the satellite finder. As you approach the satellite signal, the pointer will begin to rise.
- Сезгичтикти жөндөө: When the satellite finder's pointer reaches its maximum deflection (or goes off scale), slowly turn the sensitivity adjustment knob counter-clockwise to reduce the signal attenuation. This will bring the pointer back onto the scale, allowing for finer adjustments.
- Maximize Signal: Continue to make small, precise adjustments to the antenna's azimuth, elevation, and the LNB's polarization angle (skew) until the satellite finder's pointer no longer increases, indicating the strongest possible signal. Repeat step 3 (adjusting sensitivity) as needed to keep the pointer on scale for maximum precision.
- Сигналдын текшерүүсү: Once the signal is maximized on the finder, use your satellite receiver to verify that you are receiving the correct satellite signal and that the picture quality is optimal.
- Disconnect Finder: After successful alignment and verification, disconnect the satellite finder. Reconnect the LNB cable directly to your satellite receiver.
Tip: For best results, make very small adjustments to the dish and wait a few seconds for the meter to respond.
6. Техникалык тейлөө
The RASTKY Professional Satellite Finder requires minimal maintenance.
- Тазалоо: Аппаратты жумшак, кургак чүпүрөк менен сүртүңүз. Суюк тазалагычтарды же абразивдүү материалдарды колдонбоңуз.
- Сактагыч: Store the finder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Колдонуу: Түзмөктү түшүрүп албоо же физикалык зыян келтирбөө үчүн этияттык менен кармаңыз.
7. Кыйынчылыктарды
| Көйгөй | Мүмкүн себеп | Чечим |
|---|---|---|
| No meter reading / Finder not lighting up | No power from receiver; Incorrect connection; Faulty cable. | Ensure satellite receiver is on and providing 13-18V DC. Check all cable connections for tightness. Test cables for continuity. |
| Meter always at maximum | Signal overload; Sensitivity knob too high. | Turn the sensitivity knob counter-clockwise to reduce the signal. Ensure you are not pointing directly at a very strong signal source without attenuation. |
| Сигнал табылбай жатат | Dish not aimed correctly; Obstruction; LNB issue; Incorrect satellite selected on receiver. | Double-check satellite coordinates for your location. Ensure no obstructions (trees, buildings). Verify LNB is functioning. Confirm correct satellite is selected on your receiver. |
