2. Using the Double Head Spring Bar Tool

This tool is essential for removing and inserting spring bars, which secure watch straps to the watch case.

1. Identify the spring bar on your watch strap. It typically has a small flange or groove on each end.
2. Use the forked end of the spring bar tool to compress the spring bar by inserting the fork into the flange and pushing inwards.
3. Gently pry the spring bar out of its lug hole. Repeat for the other side to remove the strap.
4. To install a strap, insert one end of the spring bar into a lug hole, then use the forked end to compress the other side and guide it into the opposite lug hole.
5. The pointed end of the tool can be used for fine adjustments or to push out pins in some watch models.

3. Using the Hammer and Pin Punches

These tools are used in conjunction with the watch band holder for more stubborn pins or for reinserting pins.

1. Place the watch band into the watch band holder, aligning the pin to be removed with one of the holes in the holder.
2. Select a pin punch that is slightly smaller than the pin you intend to remove.
3. Position the tip of the pin punch directly on the pin.
4. Gently tap the top of the pin punch with the hammer until the pin starts to emerge from the other side.
5. To reinsert a pin, align it with the holes and gently tap it back into place using the hammer and punch.
