- Mercedes-Benz GLC X254 (2nd Gen) 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026
- Mercedes-Benz A-Class 2024-2026 (HD2-6609 model)
- Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class 2024-2026 (HD2-6609 model)
It is crucial to select the correct model based on your vehicle's factory OEM cover. Please refer to the images below to identify the correct model for your vehicle.

Upon opening your Fitcamx Dash Cam package, please ensure all the following items are included:
- 1 × Dash Cam
- 1 × Memory Card (pre-installed or separate)
- 1 × Front Cam Cable

The Fitcamx Dash Cam is designed for a plug-and-play installation, seamlessly integrating with your vehicle's existing structure without causing damage. The installation process typically involves replacing the original rearview mirror cover with the dash cam unit.

The dash cam primarily draws power from the rain sensor. A plug-and-play cable is provided by default for this connection. Other power options like fuse box or OBD connection may be available upon request.

4.2. Front Camera Installation Steps
Follow these steps to install your Fitcamx Front Dash Cam:
Use a plastic tool to pry open the back cover. Carefully insert the pry tool into the seam of the original rearview mirror cover and gently pry it open.

4.3. Rear Camera Installation (for Dual Cam versions)
For dual camera versions, the rear camera can be mounted on the rear windshield or facing the cabin. The rear cam cable connects to the front cam.

The dash cam features seamless loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new content when the memory card is full. - **Memory Card:** Regularly format the memory card via the app settings to prevent data corruption and ensure continuous recording. It is recommended to use Class 10 specification SanDisk/KIOXIA/Samsung memory cards with a capacity of 32GB or 64GB. The maximum supported size is 256GB.
- **Cleaning:** Keep the camera lens clean from dust and smudges using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- **Firmware Updates:** Check the Fitcamx app periodically for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
- **Regular Checks:** Periodically check that the camera is working properly, especially after car maintenance or battery replacement, to ensure continuous recording.

If you encounter any issues with your Fitcamx Dash Cam, refer to the following common problems and their solutions:
7.1. App Connection Issues
- Problem 1: Apple iPhone connection failed

- First, turn off the Cellular Data in your phone settings, then connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi.
- If your phone is connected to the car's CarPlay, turn off Bluetooth, then connect the camera Wi-Fi.
- Check if the album and network permissions for the Fitcamx App have been granted. (Album permission is only used to save videos and pictures recorded by the camera into the phone album).
- Problem 2: Android phone connection failure

- After connecting to the camera's Wi-Fi, your phone may prompt that you can't access the Internet. Please click "Keep WLAN Connection".
- Close Mobile Data first, then connect to Wi-Fi.
- Problem 3: App cannot save settings (default settings are restored after reboot)
- Чечим: After setting the App, press and hold the power button of the camera to turn off the camera, then press the power button briefly to turn on the camera. This saves the settings.

- If the computer configuration is too low, it may cause playback to be choppy, especially for 4K resolution videos.
- Problem 6: Why can't you connect 2 phones at the same time?
- Чечим: The dash cam's Wi-Fi only supports connecting one phone at a time. If another phone needs to be connected, you must first disconnect the Wi-Fi of the first phone.

- Problem 9: Do I need to connect the camera Wi-Fi and open the App every time I drive?

- Problem 10: What should I do if I can't find the Wi-Fi?

- First, remove the memory card and then search for Wi-Fi. A memory card failure can prevent the camera from broadcasting Wi-Fi.
- Press and hold the camera button for 20 seconds, or use a paper clip to press the reset button to restore factory settings.
- Check whether the camera's indicator light is always on. If there is no light, it means there is no power supply, and thus no Wi-Fi.
