Before first use, fully charge the ANCEL V5BT main unit using the provided power adapter and Type-C USB cable. The device features a 5000mAh rechargeable battery.

4.3 Connecting the VCI Dongle

5.1 Vehicle Selection and Auto-VIN
After connecting the VCI to your vehicle and powering on the V5BT, navigate to the "Diagnosis" menu. The device supports automatic VIN detection for quick vehicle identification. If auto-scan is not supported for your vehicle, you may manually input the VIN or select the vehicle details (make, model, year) from the provided lists.

The V5BT can perform OE-level diagnostics on all available vehicle systems, including Engine, Transmission, Airbag, ABS, SAS, ESP, TPMS, Steering, Radio, A/C, and more. This allows for comprehensive fault detection across the entire vehicle.
- From the main menu, select "Diagnosis".
- Choose your vehicle make (or use Auto-VIN).
- Select "Full System Scan" or navigate to specific system modules (e.g., Engine, ABS).
- The scanner will read ECU information, display fault codes, and provide data streams.

5.3 Reading and Clearing Fault Codes (DTCs)
When a fault code is detected, the V5BT will display it. You can then look up the DTC definition and clear the codes after the underlying issue has been resolved.
- After a system scan, select "Trouble Codes" to view detected DTCs.
- To understand a code, use the "DTC Lookup" function.
- After performing necessary repairs, select "Clear" to erase the fault codes from the vehicle's ECU.

5.4 Live Data Stream
Monitor real-time data parameters from various sensors and components. The V5BT supports a 4-in-1 graphical display for easy comparison and analysis of multiple data streams simultaneously.
- From the diagnosis menu, select "Data List" or "Live Data".
- Choose the parameters you wish to monitor.
- The data can be displayed in text or graphical format. Use the "4 in 1" option for comparative analysis.

The V5BT offers over 10 common maintenance and reset services. More advanced reset functions may be available by navigating through specific car brand software and system modules.

- Connect the V5BT to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- From the main menu, select "Update".
- The system will check for available updates. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install them.

7. Remote Diagnosis
The V5BT supports remote diagnosis, allowing for expert assistance when needed. This feature typically uses a remote access application (e.g., TeamViewer QuickSupport) to allow a technician to view and control your device remotely.
- From the main menu, select "Quick Support" or a similar remote assistance application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to generate an ID or connect to a remote session.
- Provide the ID to your support technician for remote assistance.
