The HIMOJO Smart Blind Motor is an intelligent device designed to automate existing blinds, shades, and curtains. 4. Verify that the usage environment has a 2.4GHz WiFi network connection and stable internet access.
5. Fully charge the blinds motor before initial use.
6. Pay attention to the adaptability of the blinds: the pull beads should be 3-7mm in diameter, and the nylon rope 0.3-4mm.

Follow these steps to install your smart blind motor:

1. Determine the installation position and remove the device head cover.
2. Select the appropriate driving gear based on your blind's pull bead and install it onto the output shaft of the equipment.
3. Hang the pull bead on the equipment's driving gear and tighten it downwards (ensure it's taut but not too tight). Press the device against the wall. Ensure the beads rotate stably and do not slip.
4. Install the device in the selected location and trace a line along the bottom edge of the device on the wall using a pen.
5. Remove the back cover of the device and secure it at the 3-5mm downward position that was just marked. For rough walls, use screws for fixation. For smooth surfaces like ceramic tiles, 3M glue can be used. Reattach the device along with the pull bead to the back cover.
6. Remove the protection teeth from the head cover and then reinstall the head cover onto the device. The installation is now complete. Avoid forcefully pulling the pull bead to prevent damage.

4.2. Pairing with Remote Control

1. Press and hold the machine's power on button for five seconds to turn off the machine.
2. Then, press and hold the machine's power button for three seconds until the indicator light flashes slowly.
3. Press the stop button on the remote control. The machine's indicator light will flash quickly to indicate pairing.
4. If the pairing is successful, the light will turn off.

4.3. App Connection (WiFi Version)

To connect your device to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP:

1. After turning on the product, turn on Bluetooth positioning and WiFi on your phone, and open Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP.
2. Plug the wireless gateway into a power source and quickly press the gateway button twice.
3. In the app, enter the page, click "Add Device" in the upper right corner, and wait for the network configuration search.

5. After the addition is completed, click "Done".

4.4. Learning Method (Calibration)

To calibrate the motor's travel limits:

1. With the curtains in the closed state, click "Start Learning" in the app to initiate the opening of the rolling shutter.
2. After the rolling shutter is fully opened, click "Stop Learning".
3. Once the learning is complete, click "Confirm".
4. On the control interface, you can choose to "Open," "Ajar," or "Close" the blinds.

The smart blind motor is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. Use the provided USB cable and a compatible 5V/2A adapter (not included) to charge the device via its Type-C charging port.

7.1. No Response When Pressing Buttons

If the device does not respond when you press any button:

1. Firstly, connect the product charger to ensure it has power.
2. Locate the reset button on the machine (often near the charging port).
3. Press and hold the reset button briefly to turn on the device. Once turned on, you should be able to operate it.

7.2. Machine Automatically Stops After 1-2 Seconds of Operation

This usually indicates that the machine's running time has not been properly set:

1. This is because the machine's running time has not been set by connecting to the gateway yet.
2. After connecting the device to the gateway and network via the app, the machine's running time needs to be set through the phone app (refer to Section 4.4 Learning Method).

7.3. Machine Not Working Properly After Installing the Cover

Ensure the correct components are used and installed properly:

1. Choose the correct buckle that fits your specific bead chain.
2. Break off any excess baffle on the lid if it obstructs the bead chain or motor operation.

7.4. How to Restore Factory Settings

To restore the device to its factory settings:

1. For the Motor: Find the reset button on the machine. Press and hold it for five seconds until the indicator light flashes. Continue to press and hold the button for three more seconds to successfully reset.
2. For the Gateway: Press and hold the button on the gateway. Insert the USB charging head while holding the button. After seeing the green indicator light, double-click the button twice. The indicator light will start flashing alternately in green and blue. Wait for a few seconds, and if the blue light starts flashing, it means that the reset has been successful.

7.5. How to Determine Successful Connection from the Indicator Light

The indicator lights provide status information:

• Before configuring the network: The indicator lights on both the motor and the gateway will flash continuously.
• After configuring the network: The indicator light on the motor should not flash, and the indicator light on the gateway should stay on with a blue light. If the indicator light on the motor does not flash, please refer to the reset method at 1 minute and 25 seconds in Video 4.
