Pre-Installation Test
Before full installation, perform a quick test to ensure the device is functioning correctly. This helps identify any issues before proceeding with complex wiring.
Test Car Stereo
- Combine the red and yellow wires of the car stereo and connect them to the positive pole of the battery.
- Connect the black wire to the negative pole of the battery.
- After 2 seconds, check if the car stereo screen lights up. If it does, the car stereo is functioning properly.

Test Rear View Камера (кошумча)

- Maintain the Step 1 connections (red/yellow to +12V, black to GND).
- Connect the pink wire from the car stereo to the top red wire of the rear view камера.
- Combine the middle red wire and the bottom red wire of the rear view camera and connect them to the positive pole of the battery (+12V).
- Connect the black wire of the rear view camera to the negative pole of the battery (GND).
- If the camera lights up and the car stereo shows the reverse image, the rear view camera is functioning properly.

After completing these tests, the car stereo is ready to be installed in your car.
Machine Installation Methods
This car stereo is universal and suitable for most cars. If the unit does not fit your car directly, you may need aftermarket accessories:
- Double DIN dash kit (for your car model)
- Wire harness (connects car wiring to stereo wiring)
- Antenna adapter (for your car model)
You can find these accessories by searching your vehicle's year, make, and model. Alternatively, you may need to modify your car's original frame.

Radio Function (FM & EQ)

Click the "FM/Radio icon" on the menu to enter radio mode. Press "FM" to switch to radio mode, then "FM1" to select different bands (FM1/2/3).
- Browse/Auto Memory: Press "AS/PS". It will browse and store stations on the band (each for 10 seconds). When a desired station is found, press it to start playing. Hold "AS/PS" for 3 seconds to automatically store stations. The radio will search and store strong signals first, then weaker signals.

USB/TF Playback
Insert a USB flash drive or TF card to play videos and music. The USB interface also supports charging for your phone.

Click the application icon to enter the application interface. Select the audio or video file to play. Supported formats include AVI, MKV, QT, MPG, ASF, FLV, RMVB, MP3, WMA, ACC, WAVE, FLAC, APE, OGG, MP4 for audio/video, and BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG for images.

- Press any button on the steering wheel. The interface will display a prompt for a long press. You cannot learn without pressing the steering wheel button for a while.
- Click on the screen to learn the docking function.
- Click the corresponding function button on the steering wheel and repeat steps 1/3 in sequence until all control buttons are configured.
Conditions for this function:
- Original steering wheel for non-bus control.
- The steering wheel key of the original car must use the voltage input control method.
Bluetooth (BT) функциясы
- Click the settings icon to enter the settings page, then click the BT icon to enter the BT connection page.
- Издөө the BT name of the device. Your phone will display a matching code. Click and confirm to match and connect. PIN Number: "0000" or "1234" or "88888888" (if needed).

Your phone will prompt for a PIN code (found on the settings interface) or direct confirmation. A "Phone Device Name" message indicates successful connection.

- Click on the number in the interface to input the phone number. If incorrect, click the delete icon to remove digits.
- After entering the number, press the call icon to dial.
- Press the end call icon to end the current call.

- Enter the phone book interface. Click the [Sync Contact] button to confirm the pop-up synchronization contact book request.
- Издөө contacts: After synchronizing, clicking the search icon will open a search box. Enter English letters to search.
- BT Music Playback:
- The BT music playback interface allows connection to a BT phone for playback/pause/up/down operations.
- To play music, you must first go to the music page on your phone and then click play.

The AUX line transmits audio to the original car player (supported by some models).
Mirror Link (Optional)

Mirroring allows smartphones to display their screen content (e.g., maps, apps) directly on the car's MP5 multimedia system. Note that some product models may not support Mirror Link functionality.
Mirror Link for Android System
- Use the original data cable to connect the car stereo and your mobile phone.
- Find "System" in your phone settings.
- Open "Settings" > Tap "Developer options" > Tick "USB debug" > Allow USB debugging > OK.
You can control your Android phone from the car stereo display.
Mirror Link for iOS System
- Use the original data cable to connect the car stereo and your mobile phone.
- When your phone displays a dialog box "Trust This Computer?", select "Trust" to enter the interconnect mode.
- Match the Bluetooth if you need to use the audio.
You cannot control your iPhone from the car stereo display.

The reversing video input connects via an RCA adapter cable. When a signal is detected, the LCD automatically switches to the camera image. The camera is purchased separately.
- Refer to the "Rearview Camera Installation" section for setup.

- "Rearview Cam" can be triggered by pressing the "Rearview Cam" icon in the main interface or by engaging the vehicle's reverse gear.
When triggered by reverse gear, the unit will automatically display the rear view сүрөт.

After installation, start the engine and engage reverse gear. Check if the monitor automatically displays the rear view image. If not, verify the installation.

Use the radio only in a 12V-output vehicle. Do not use a voltage adapter. 1.2 If the radio remains off after confirming correct wiring, temporarily connect the red and yellow cables together and attach them to the 12V-positive terminal. 1.3 If the radio still does not power on, check whether the fuse is blown. |
| Car radio powers on but produces no sound, or sound cuts out during playback | Note: The radio can play USB/SD content but has no audio output. Common causes include: 1. Speaker negative wires are improperly grounded. 2. The amplifier IC is burned out due to a short circuit in the wiring. 2.1 Check if any speaker cables have a short circuit, and ensure each one is individually insulated. 2.2 If you confirm that the wire is correctly wired, you can find another speaker to do an extra test, which could easily confirm the problem is from the radio or your car's system. |
| Car radio's BT is not working, or it works for a while then disconnects | 3.1 Forget the device: Go to your phone's BT settings → Select "CAR-MP5" → Tap Forget This Device. Re-pair the device: Turn on the MP5's BT → Scan for devices on your phone → Select "CAR-MP5", Enter PIN (if prompted): Use 0000, 1234, or 88888888 (default codes). 3.2 If the last step doesn't fix BT, try to find the "reset hole" on the front panel and reset. If convenient, you can also unhook the power connector behind for a few minutes and replug it. |
| Car radio's mic is not working, phone call from the other side can't hear clearly | 4.1 Try to check the BT volume setting. 4.2 Try to check if the dashboard is too low (the mic is too far for you) for the radio's mic to collect your voice. |
| Car radio cannot read your USB flash disk or SD/TF card | Confirm the capacity of the USB flash disk or SD memory card. It can read lower than 32GB disk normally. Use other flash disks with fewer songs to test again (confirm if you insert the SD/TF card in the correct side). |
| Car radio's remote control does not work | Check if the remote has the correct battery inside. |
| The reversing camera cannot work in the radio | Check if the pink cable is wired correctly with the reversing camera's controlling cable. If unsure how to wire it, contact support for advice. |
| Car radio noise problem | 8.1 For some cars, noise might be generated, especially with an amplifier, due to interference. Ensure all cables are well-wrapped to prevent contact. 8.2 You can find another speaker to do an extra test, which could easily confirm if the problem is from the radio or your car's system. |
| Car radio cannot save the time or radio station setting | Check if the Yellow cable is wired with your car's battery 12V+ (constant positive). This provides constant power to the unit and saves settings. |
| Screen Mirroring Failure | Step 1: Check device compatibility; ensure your phone supports Mirroring. Step 2: Enable car's Wi-Fi/BT → Activate phone's screen mirroring → Select "CAR-MP5". Step 3: No signal? Restart both devices. Note that some phones do not support phone mirroring and are not compatible. |
