6.2 Zello Account Setup

The GP-268 is designed to work with the Zello application for Push-to-Talk communication. You will need a Zello account to use its full features.

7. Zello Application Usage

2. You can search for friends who have a Zello account by entering their username, email, or phone number.
3. A Zello logo will appear next to friends with Zello accounts. Select them and press 'Import' to add.

2. Press the button in the upper right corner to add a channel.

7.6 Changing Status

If you need to be temporarily unavailable, press the menu button on your phone to open the menu and select 'Modified State'. Your friends will be notified that you are not available to talk. Options include 'Available', 'Busyness', and 'Off-line'.

7.7 Group Conversations

• Start a New Group Conversation: Under the 'RECENTS' column, choose the option on the bottom right. Select contacts to invite, then long press the 'OK' key to confirm 'Start' at the top right.
• Disable/Enable Group Chat: Click the button on the bottom right corner to temporarily disable group chat. Click it again to re-enable.
• Leave a Group Conversation: Long press the group chat, then select 'Leave conversation' and confirm.

7.8 Single Chat

To start a single chat, select a contact under the 'CONTACTS' column to send messages.

7.9 Search and Add Contact

Click the option on the bottom right corner, enter the user ID you want to find, and click the search icon to confirm.
