4.1. Measure Your Door
Before installation, it is crucial to measure your door's thickness, the length of the guide sheet, and the width of the guide sheet to ensure compatibility with the lock and mortise options.

4.2. Mortise Options
The YRHAND Smart Lock is compatible with a variety of mortise types. Ensure you select the correct mortise for your door. Common options include 50/50 Mortise, 72 Series Mortise, and 85 Series Mortise.

The lock is powered by 4 AA dry batteries (not included). Install them in the battery box located on the interior panel of the lock. Ensure correct polarity.

4.4. App Setup (Tuya / TTLock)
Your smart lock supports either the Tuya Smart app or the TTLock app, depending on the model. Download the appropriate app from your smartphone's app store.
4.4.1. Tuya App Setup (for WiFi models)
For WiFi models, the Tuya app allows remote unlocking and management. A G2 gateway is required for full WiFi functionality to manage your lock from anywhere.

4.4.2. TTLock App Setup (for Bluetooth models)
For Bluetooth models, the TTLock app provides local control and management. A gateway (sold separately) is required for remote access and smart home integration (e.g., with Google Home or Alexa).
- Download and install the TTLock app.

Your smart lock offers several convenient ways to unlock:

5.2. Anti-peeping Virtual Password
To enhance security, you can enter any random numbers before or after your actual password. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer string of numbers. This prevents others from easily discerning your password by observing your input.

5.3. Temporary Password Generation
Through the mobile app, you can generate time-limited or one-time passwords for guests, family members, or service providers. This provides convenient access without sharing your permanent codes.

5.4. Photo Capture & Remote Unlock Function
When a visitor presses the doorbell on the lock panel, the built-in camera will automatically capture a photo. You will receive a real-time notification and the photo in your app, allowing you to see who is at your door and remotely unlock if desired.

5.5. Anti-lock Function
The anti-lock button, located on the interior panel, can be activated to prevent anyone from unlocking the door from the outside, even with valid credentials (except for the administrator). This provides an extra layer of security when you are inside.

5.6. Real-time Monitoring and Logs
The app allows you to check operation logs and alerts anytime, anywhere. This includes records of who unlocked the door, when, and by what method (fingerprint, password, remote unlock, etc.).
