4. Орнотуу

4.1 Батареяны орнотуу

The KAIWEETS HT208D requires 3 AAA batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

4.2 Connecting Test Leads and Thermocouple

Том үчүнtage, resistance, capacitance, diode, continuity, and temperature measurements, connect the test leads or thermocouple to the input jacks:

5.2 AC/DC Ток өлчөө (Clamp)

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "A" position (AC or DC current).
  2. Press the "FUNC" button to select between AC (~) or DC (---) current.

The Inrush function helps identify startup issues in motors or circuits by capturing the peak current during startup. This function is only available in AC mode.

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "A~" (AC Current) position.
  2. Press the "INRUSH" button. The display will show "INRUSH".

  4. Activate the device or motor to be tested. The meter will capture the inrush current over approximately 100ms.
  5. Read the inrush current value on the display.

5.8 VFD and LoZ Modes

  • VFD (Variable Frequency Drive): Select the AC Voltage or AC Current function, then press the "VFD" button to activate VFD mode. This mode filters out high-frequency noise and measures the fundamental frequency of variable frequency drives.
  • LoZ (Low Input Impedance): Select the AC Voltage function, then press the "LOZ" button to activate LoZ mode. This mode provides a low impedance input to drain ghost voltages, giving more accurate readings in certain applications.

  • Remember that the Inrush current function is specifically designed for AC circuits and will not operate in DC mode.
  • For accurate temperature readings, ensure the K-type thermocouple is properly connected and in good contact with the surface being measured.
