- A "MEDIA" button on the iDrive controller or a Touch pad controller.
- A BMW ConnectedDrive function.
- CCC System (Incompatible):
- Identical features: Independent slots for CD and DVD.
- A 10-pin LVDS port at the rear of the unit.
- A BMW Car Communication Computer Interface.
- CIC System (Incompatible):
- Identical features: A 4-pin LVDS port at the rear of the unit.
- A "CD" button on the iDrive controller.
- A BMW Car Information Computer Interface.
NOTE: A "Car ConnectedDrive" or "Car Information Computer" interface does not guarantee you have the NBT system. Always check the LVDS port and iDrive controller buttons.
