No Display / Device Not Turning On

Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the right polarity.

This may indicate poor contact with the material or a very low/high moisture level outside the device's range.
Ensure stable insertion of probes.
Avoid measuring materials that are excessively wet or completely dry if they fall outside the specified range.
