1. Locate the reverse control line (pink wire) on the unit's power line. Connect this line to the 12V positive pole, and the screen will turn blue.
2. Find the CAM video input interface on the back of the unit, and locate the positive and negative terminals of the backup light.
3. The camera has two sockets: connect the red socket to the power cable, and the yellow socket to the video cable. Screw the red wire of the power cable and the video cable together onto the positive pole of the reverse lamp. The black wire of the power cable is not used. Connect the other end of the video cable to the CAM video input interface on the back of the unit. The red wire coming from the video line connects to the reversing control line of the power line.
4. Some models adapt to the camera's resolution type.
5. Some models require manual setting of the camera's resolution type; otherwise, the image content may not display normally.

Apple CarPlay (Some models support)

When using an Android device, after connecting the USB data cable, you will be prompted to install the APP software. After installation, plug the data cable again to enter screen mirroring mode. It can be operated from both the player screen and the phone screen. Note: Only image transfer is successful at this time. Audio can only be transmitted after a successful Bluetooth connection.

6.1. Common Problems and Simple Troubleshooting

    • Disconnect all speaker cables from the unit (do not remove them). Connect an external speaker to the gray and purple wires of the tail line. Test for sound. If there is sound, the car's speaker line is short-circuited or the speaker is damaged. If no sound, the unit is faulty.

6. Q: How to update GPS Map?
   • A: Download map update APK from our website or use mobile phone WIFI hotspots to download and install directly. Copy to GPS ROM and set navigation path. Online navigation is also an option.
7. Q: Is it possible to listen to music or radio while using navigation?
   • A: Yes, Clayton devices use unique technology for simultaneous music/radio and navigation.
8. Q: Do these units support steering wheel control?
   • A: Yes, a different CAN-Bus (optional) comes with the unit to match the vehicle amplifier and steering wheel control.
9. Q: Can we install the DVD Units ourselves?
