3.1.1 In-Wall Wiring Detection
To detect the direction, breakpoint location, and short-circuit points of electrical circuits within walls:

- Use the Receiver unit to scan the wall surface. The device will indicate the presence and direction of the cable.
- The dual flashlight feature can assist in dimly lit areas.

3.1.2 Underground Cable Detection
To detect faults such as open circuits and short circuits in cables buried underground:
- Connect the red alligator clip cable to the cable you wish to trace and the black alligator clip cable to the grounding pile, ensuring good ground contact.
- Use the Receiver unit to scan the ground surface. The device can detect cables up to 1.5 meters deep.

3.1.3 Searching for Fuses/Sockets and Water/Heating Pipes
The device can also be used to locate fuses, their safety circuits, covered sockets, junction boxes, and even underfloor heating pipes.

3.1.4 Transmission Codes and Sensitivity Adjustment
The Transmitter uses multiple transmission codes (A, C, E, F, H, L) to help identify and classify laid lines. The Receiver offers three modes for adjusting sensitivity:

The ET938PRO model features an infrared thermal imager for temperature inspection and fault detection.
