1. Introduction and Overview

The LAUNCH CRP123X V3.0 is a well-designed car scanner equipped with essential features for both home mechanics and professionals. It offers comprehensive diagnostic capabilities for four main systems: Engine, Transmission, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). This tool supports CANFD and DOIP protocols (requires an adapter) and provides lifetime free updates via Wi-Fi.

To prevent personal injury or damage to vehicles and/or the tool, read this user's manual carefully and observe the following safety precautions at a minimum whenever working on a vehicle:

There are two methods to charge your LAUNCH CRP123X V3.0:

7. Read the user agreement, check the box for "Agree to all the above terms," and tap OK to finish the sign-up process and navigate to the Job Menu.

5. Operating Instructions (Diagnosis)

1. Turn the vehicle's ignition OFF.
2. Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC). This is typically located under the hood or by the radiator, or under/around the driver's side of the instrument panel.
3. Plug one end of the diagnostic cable into the vehicle's DLC port, and the other end into the DB-15 diagnostic connector of the tool. Tighten the captive screws.

4. Turn the ignition ON. The engine can be off or running.
5. Press the power button for several seconds to turn the tool on and enter the Job Menu.

• 4th and 5th Characters (Letter/Numeric: 0-9, A-F): Identify the section of the system that is malfunctioning.
