Follow these 3 easy steps for proper installation and wiring of your DALY Smart BMS. Ensure all connections are secure and correct before activation.

1. Solder the sampling cables: The first cable in black in the sampling cable set is connected to the negative terminal of the battery, the second cable (red) is connected to the positive terminal of the first string of batteries, and the third cable (red) is connected to the positive terminal of the second string of batteries. Continue this pattern until all cables are connected.
2. Кабелдерди текшерүү: After connecting the cables, measure the voltage between two adjacent cables starting from the header to make sure there are no wrong connections or missing connections.
3. Connect the output wires: Connect the B- wire of BMS to the total negative terminal of the battery pack, and then plug the sampling cable to BMS. After activating the BMS, make sure that the voltage (батарея томtage) between B+ & B- and the voltage between P+ & P- are consistent.

Activating the BMS

The BMS is automatically activated when used for the first time. If the BMS is dormant, it can be activated in 4 ways:

Before activating the BMS, please make sure that the BMS, the cable, the battery are connected correctly, and the NTC is connected with the BMS.

Methods to Activate the DALY Smart BMS.

1. Use key switch.
2. Press buttons on Bluetooth module or SOC indicator.
3. Using CAN/RS485 communication or Bluetooth connect to Mobile APP.
4. Charge or discharge the battery.

The self-developed DALY Smart BMS APP allows you to monitor your battery system in real-time and adjust various parameters. It supports both iOS and Android systems and automatically switches with the system language. A Bluetooth module is required to connect the BMS to the APP.

Cloud Manager (IoT Platform)

For remote and batch intelligent management, utilize the DALY Cloud Lithium Battery IoT Platform. This platform allows you to transfer data over the internet to a cloud server. The BMS must be connected to a Bluetooth module, WiFi module, or 4G module to upload data to the cloud server through the mobile APP or a router.

Upper Computer Software

Connect to the upper computer through a communication wire (UART/RS485/CAN) to adjust multiple protection values such as overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, over-current protection, temperature protection, and balancing parameters. This provides a detailed interface for setting and reading parameters.

• BMS Not Activating: If the BMS does not activate, ensure all battery and sampling cables are correctly connected and the NTC is properly installed. Try activating using one of the four methods described in the 'Setup and Installation' section (key switch, Bluetooth/SOC button, APP, or charging/discharging the battery).
