6.2 Welding Modes

  • Manual Arc Welding (MMA): Uses welding rods. Ideal for outdoor, heavy-duty welding, and repairs.
  • Gasless Shielded Welding (MIG Gasless): Uses flux-cored welding wire, eliminating the need for external shielding gas. This mode is windproof, interference-free, portable, and efficient.
  • Gas Shielded Welding (MIG Gas): Uses solid welding wire and an external shielding gas (e.g., CO2 or mixed gas). This results in a clean, high-quality weld seam with minimal spatter.
  • Lift-Ignited Argon Arc Welding (LIFT-TIG): Allows precise control over heat input, suitable for welding stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials requiring clean and high-quality welds. Note: TIG torch is not included.

The machine is capable of welding thin plates from 0.1mm up to 5mm thick materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, white steel, copper, and more.
