The ANENG A3006A is an intelligent pen-type multimeter with automatic identification for most functions. It will automatically detect the type of measurement (AC/DC voltage, resistance, etc.) when connected.

6.3 Live Wire (Zero Firewire) Detection

2. The multimeter will indicate 'LIVE' or 'FIRE' and beep if it detects a live wire. The neutral wire will typically not trigger a response.

6.4 Line Breakpoint Detection

Use the NCV function to locate breaks in insulated wires.

1. Move the multimeter along the insulated wire.
2. The device will beep and show a signal where electricity is present. The absence of a signal indicates a breakpoint.
