Real-time Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitoring System

The Jansite Motorcycle Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is designed to provide real-time monitoring of your motorcycle's tire pressure and temperature. This system enhances riding safety by alerting you to potential tire issues such as high/low pressure, high temperature, air leakage, and low sensor battery. This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your TPMS.

IMPORTANT: This TPMS is ONLY compatible with specific Jansite motorcycle Carplay models. It CANNOT connect to other Carplay models or directly to mobile phones. Please ensure your Carplay unit is listed below before attempting installation.

If you do not own a compatible Jansite motorcycle Carplay unit, you will need one for this TPMS to function. Compatible Carplay units are available in various screen sizes (5.0, 6.86, 7.0, 8.1 inches) and offer features like Wireless Carplay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation, Voice Control, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Upon opening your Jansite TPMS package, please verify that all the following items are included:

  • 2 x TPMS External Sensors (BLE type)
  • 1 x Sensor Wrench
  • 2 x Anti-theft Nuts

  1. Ensure your motorcycle tires are at the recommended pressure.
  2. Unscrew the original valve cap from the tire valve stem.
  3. Screw on one of the anti-theft nuts onto the valve stem.

  5. Using the provided wrench, tighten the anti-theft nut against the sensor to secure it.
  6. Repeat for the other tire.

6.2 Pairing with Jansite Carplay Unit

  1. Power on your Jansite motorcycle Carplay unit.
  2. Navigate to the 'TPMS' application or section on your Carplay unit's interface. (Refer to your Carplay unit's manual for specific navigation).
  3. The Carplay unit should display an option to pair new sensors or show 'unpaired' status.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts on your Carplay unit to initiate the pairing process. This typically involves driving a short distance or rotating the wheels to activate the sensors.
  5. Once paired, the Carplay unit will display real-time tire pressure and temperature readings.

Once installed and paired, the Jansite TPMS will continuously monitor your motorcycle's tire conditions and display them on your compatible Carplay unit.

  • The Carplay unit will show the current pressure (e.g., in Psi) and temperature (e.g., in °C) for each tire.
  • These readings are updated in real-time, providing immediate feedback on tire status.

The system is equipped with several alarm functions to alert you to critical tire conditions:

  • High/Low Pressure Alarm: Activates if tire pressure deviates significantly from preset safe ranges.

  • Air Leakage Alarm: Triggers if a rapid drop in tire pressure is detected.

When an alarm is triggered, a visual and/or audible alert will be provided by your Carplay unit. Always address tire warnings immediately and safely.

  • Regularly inspect sensors for any physical damage or signs of wear.

The sensors are designed for long-term use. While the product specifications indicate 'No Battery Included' for the overall package, the sensors themselves contain non-user-replaceable batteries. The system will alert you via the 'Sensor Low Battery Alarm' when a sensor's battery is nearing the end of its life. At this point, the affected sensor will need to be replaced.

Maintaining correct tire pressure is crucial for safety and performance. Bad tire pressure can lead to serious problems such as flat tires, accidents, vehicle deviation, and accelerated tire wear.
