4. Орнотуу

4.1 Батареяны орнотуу

  1. Open the battery compartment lid located on the back of the device.

4.2 Environmental Notice

Before use, ensure the indoor temperature is at least 15°C (59°F). This helps ensure the accuracy of the thermometer's readings.

Press the power button to turn on the device. The device will automatically power off after 12 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery.

5.2 Forehead Mode (Recommended for infants and children)

  1. Ensure the magnetic cap is on the probe.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the device. The forehead icon will appear on the screen.
  3. Aim the thermometer at the forehead from a distance of 1-3 cm.
  4. Press the measurement button. Measurement is complete when the temperature reading appears on the screen.

Tip for accurate forehead measurement during fever: Locate the mastoid area behind the ear. Turn on the device, use forehead mode, and measure from about 1 cm away. This method can provide a more accurate temperature reading during fever.

5.3 Ear Mode (Recommended for children/adults)

  1. First, remove the magnetic cap from the infrared probe.
  2. After removing the cap and turning on the device, an ear icon will appear on the screen.
  3. Gently pull the earlobe upward and backward to straighten the ear canal.
  4. Then insert the infrared probe into the ear canal to measure.

5.4 Object Mode (Measure room temperature/milk temperature, etc.)

  1. While the device is powered off, press and hold the object temperature mute button (often labeled 'M' or with a house icon) for 3 seconds.
  2. When the house icon appears on the screen, it enters object temperature mode.
  3. Keep a distance of 1-3 cm from the object and align the measured object for measurement.
  4. Press the measurement button to get the reading.

5.5 Switching Between Baby Mode/Standard Mode

Locate the Baby Mode/Standard Mode toggle switch on the side of the device. Slide the switch up or down to select the desired mode. Baby mode is for 0-36 months babies, and Adult mode is for 3+ years old children and adults.

5.6 Switching Between Fahrenheit/Celsius

  1. After switching on the unit, the Celsius symbol (°C) will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. To change this to Fahrenheit (°F), open the battery compartment lid on the back of the device.
  3. Remove the batteries. You will then see the Fahrenheit/Celsius selector switch inside the compartment.
  4. Toggle the switch up or down to make your selection.
  5. Reinsert the batteries and close the compartment.

The thermometer can store up to 35 groups of measurement data. To access the memory, press the 'Mem' button (if available) or cycle through the readings as per the on-screen instructions.

5.8 Унчукпай режим

Press the 'M' button briefly while powered on to activate silent mode. This prevents disturbance, especially when measuring an infant's temperature during sleep.

5.9 3-Color Fever Alert

The thermometer provides visual alerts based on temperature readings:
