5.1 Prepare Your Door
- Ensure your door thickness is between 35mm (1-3/8'') and 55mm (2-3/16'').
- Verify the existing door hole diameter is 2-1/8" (54mm) and the latch hole diameter is 3/4" (19mm).
- Check the backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4".
- Determine your door's opening direction (left or right-handed) as the handle is reversible.
