Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Nintendo Virtual Boy video game console. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and user safety.

  2. Extend the stand legs to provide a stable base for the console.

2.1 Inserting a Game Pak

  1. Ensure the console is powered off.
  2. Gently insert the Virtual Boy Game Pak into the cartridge slot on the top of the console until it clicks into place.

2.2 Powering On and Adjusting Display

  1. Press the POWER button located on the console.
  2. Position your eyes against the eyepiece. Use the FOCUS and IPD (Interpupillary Distance) adjustment sliders on the console to achieve a clear and comfortable 3D image.

2.3 Important Usage Guidelines

  • Take frequent breaks. Nintendo recommends a 10-15 minute break every 30 minutes of play.
  • Discontinue use if you experience eye strain, dizziness, or discomfort.
  • The Virtual Boy display is monochromatic (red and black). This is a design feature and not a malfunction.
  • Not recommended for children under 7 years of age due to potential eye development concerns.

4.3 Eye Discomfort or Headaches

  • Take a break from playing. Prolonged use can cause discomfort.
  • Re-adjust FOCUS and IPD settings.
  • Ensure you are playing in a well-lit environment, but avoid direct glare on the screen.
