The SoundDock Series II is designed for 30-pin iPod and iPhone models. For newer devices with a Lightning connector (e.g., iPhone 5, newer iPod Touch models), an Apple Lightning to 30-pin adapter is required (sold separately).
- Gently align your iPod or iPhone with the 30-pin connector in the docking station.
- Carefully seat the device onto the connector until it is firmly in place.
- The device will begin charging automatically when the SoundDock is powered on.
