Setup: Setting the Combination Lock

The NanoVault NV300 comes with a factory-set combination of "000". Follow these steps to set your personalized three-number combination:

1. Ensure the safe is open. Set the lock knob in the horizontal (open) position.
2. Locate the combination set switch on the back plate of the lock mechanism. Move this switch from position "A" to position "B".
3. Use the three combination number wheels to set your desired personal combination.
4. Turn the lock knob from the horizontal (open) position to the vertical (locked) position.
5. Return the combination set switch from position "B" to position "A".
6. Your new combination is now set. Test the new combination several times with the safe open before closing it.

3. Close and lock the safe. When the cable is wrapped around a fixed object and slid over the lock receiver inside the security box, both the NanoVault and its contents will be securely attached.
