The timer requires a 9V alkaline battery (not included). Ensure the battery is new at the beginning of each watering season.
- Press the two side buttons on the timer to open the unit.
- Connect a new 9V alkaline battery to the connector inside the unit.
- Fit the battery securely into its pocket and close the cover with light pressure until it clicks into place.
- Upon battery connection, the display will turn on, and the valve will open for approximately 2 seconds before the timer clock automatically resets to 00:00.
2. Timer Installation on Water Tap
Attach the timer securely to your outdoor water tap.
- Screw the timer onto the water tap.
- Fully tighten the ring nut by hand. No tools are required for this step.
- Connect your garden hoses to the provided fittings at the bottom of the timer.
- Remember to turn on the water tap after installation.

- Unscrew the ring nut at the top of the timer.

Daily Programming

The manual function allows you to water plants on demand without affecting your set programs. Each manual operation runs for 15 minutes.

Rain Sensor (Optional Accessory)
The Claber Aquadue Duplo Evolution timer can be connected to an optional Claber Rain Sensor (Model 90915, sold separately). This sensor automatically suspends the watering program in case of rain and resumes it when the weather turns fine again, preventing overwatering and conserving water.
Connecting the Rain Sensor:
- Open the timer unit by pressing the two side buttons.
- Locate the sensor socket inside the timer.
- Remove the factory-installed jumper from the sensor socket.
- Connect the rain sensor lead to the socket provided. No tools are required.
- Close the timer unit cover securely.
