The Tekpower DT830B is a compact and reliable digital multimeter designed for basic electrical measurements. 6.1. Батареяны орнотуу

The DT830B multimeter requires a 9V battery (NEDA 1604 or 6F22 type). To install or replace the battery:

1. Ensure the multimeter is turned OFF and all test leads are disconnected from the input jacks.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit (refer to Figure 2.1).
3. Remove the screw(s) securing the cover and carefully lift it off.

• Күйгүзүү/өчүрүү: Rotate the switch from the OFF position to any desired function to turn the meter ON. Rotate back to OFF to turn it OFF.
• Аралыкты тандоо: The DT830B is a manual ranging multimeter. Select a range higher than the expected measurement value. If the value is unknown, start with the highest range and decrease it until a suitable reading is obtained. An 'OL' (Overload) or '1' on the display indicates the range is too low.

1. Set the rotary switch to the desired DCV range (e.g., 20V, 200V).

7.4. DC Current Measurement (DCA)

CAUTION: Never connect the meter in parallel with a voltage source when measuring current. This can blow the fuse or damage the meter.

1. Set the rotary switch to the desired DCA range (e.g., 20mA, 200mA, 10A).
2. For currents up to 200mA, connect the red test lead to the VΩmA jack. For currents up to 10A, connect the red test lead to the 10A jack. The black lead remains in COM.

CAUTION: Ensure the circuit under test is completely de-energized before measuring resistance. Do not measure resistance on live circuits.

1. Set the rotary switch to the desired Resistance range (e.g., 200Ω, 2kΩ, 2MΩ).

8. Техникалык тейлөө

8.1. Батареяны алмаштыруу

When the battery symbol appears on the LCD display, the 9V battery needs to be replaced. Follow the steps outlined in Section 6.1.

If the meter does not function correctly on current ranges, the fuse may be blown. The DT830B uses a 0.5A/250V fuse for the mA range and an unfused 10A range. To replace the fuse:
