Carefully remove the Lutz #82 Utility Knife from its packaging. Inspect the knife for any signs of damage. If any damage is observed, do not use the knife and contact customer support.

The Lutz #82 knife comes furnished with 3 heavy-duty replacement blades stored inside the knife handle. To install a blade:
- Locate the screw on the side of the knife handle.
- Using a suitable screwdriver (not included), carefully loosen and remove the screw.
- Gently separate the two halves of the knife handle.
- Carefully place a new blade onto the blade holder pins, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Realign the two halves of the handle and secure them by reinserting and tightening the screw. Do not overtighten.
