4. Operating and Re-entry
Metacaulk Firestop Putty is a non-curing material, meaning it remains pliable after application. This allows for easy re-entry into the penetration for future modifications or maintenance without damaging the firestop seal. Simply remove the necessary amount of putty, perform the work, and then re-apply and re-mold the putty to restore the firestop integrity.
