4.2 Controls and Connections

- HI-INPUT: High-level input for connecting to factory head units without RCA outputs.
- INPUT (RCA): Low-level RCA inputs for connecting to aftermarket head units.

Ensure the vehicle's battery negative terminal is disconnected before proceeding with any wiring.
- Power (DC12V): Connect a suitable gauge power wire (e.g., 8-gauge) from the vehicle's positive battery terminal to the amplifier's DC12V terminal. Install an in-line fuse holder (not supplied) within 18 inches of the battery.

- Set the X-OVER switch to LPF (Low-Pass Filter) if driving subwoofers.
- Adjust the HI-LO-PASS knob to select the desired low-pass frequency (e.g., 80-120 Hz for subwoofers).
- Set the X-OVER switch to FULL if driving full-range speakers and using the head unit's crossover.
