Follow these steps to assemble your Vax S86-SF-CC steam mop before first use.

- Attach Microfibre Pad: Securely attach a clean microfibre cleaning pad to the bottom of the floor head.

4.1. Using as a Steam Mop
- Ensure the water tank is filled. If using detergent, ensure the solution tank is also filled.

- Select the desired steam level using the variable steam control.

- For stubborn stains, hold the steam mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam and detergent to penetrate.
- The steaming time is approximately 15 minutes per full water tank. Refill as needed.
4.2. Using as a Handheld Steamer
The Vax S86-SF-CC features a detachable handheld steamer for versatile cleaning.
- Unplug the steam mop from the power outlet.
- Press the release button to detach the handheld unit from the main body.
- Attach the desired accessory (e.g., grout brush, concentration nozzle) to the handheld unit.
- Plug the handheld unit back into the power outlet.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Vax steam mop.
5.1. After Each Use:

- Remove and wash the microfibre cleaning pad. It can be machine washed according to fabric care instructions.
